If you find information about sorbitol, you will know that it is half as sweet as sugar, and that it has a laxative effect that can cause gastric distress in the elderly. In fact, the question is whether "dieticians" use sorbitol so that the elderly will have to consult a physician before using their products. If you are elderly and/or have Crohn's disease or any of its relatives, you do not want to use products with sorbitol as an ingredient. The warning should be on the label, not here. They are too small. If you are going to buy this, buy this from costco or some wholesale place to get a better value.
